We have visited Rajasthan many times over the years and we always make a particular point of staying at Indrashan. It is a real home from home and situated in a quiet area of Jodhpur, but very convenient for the sightseeing. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and there is a large roof terrace for sitting out in either the sun or shade. The hosts, Chandra and Bhavna, and their staff, are very welcoming, helpful and knowledge about their city and the surrounding countryside. They are happy to arrange transport for days out. The food is delicious and Bhavna will also give you cookery lessons, if required. Stay at Indrashan and you won't be disappointed.

A very cozy and comfortable homestay with a royal backdrop which will give you the flavour of modern yet royal Rajasthan. Our host was very friendly and full of information. The food was delicious. Full of greenery and very spacious. Beautifully decorated bungalow. The location is something we loved. Great sweet shops and restuarants nearby along with a quiet yet beautiful neighbourhood . A 10/10.

This is the perfect home stay. From the friendliest welcome, to the comfortable, spotlessly clean room and the delicious varied breakfasts. The hosts are lovely people who know how to look after their guests and provide lots of local knowledge. I would definitely stay here again and I would highly recommend this stay to anyone visiting Jodhpur.

My stay at Indrashan was lovely. Bhavna and Chandra, the owners, are completely friendly and welcoming. It genuinely felt like I was visiting old friends rather than new acquaintances! I was traveling alone, so being in such a companionable environment was lovely. The house is very comfortable, as were my room and bath. The food was also excellent. Bhavna and Chandra also arranged a Rajasthan tour for me, with an itinerary and guide in Jodhpur, and trips to Jaisalmer and Udaipur including transportation, accommodations in wonderful old havelis, side trips and a sunset camel ride, and sightseeing and guides as needed. And a special shout-out to driver Ram Singh, who has worked for them for many years. He made me feel totally comfortable and cared-for throughout. And made weaving through crowds of honking cars, impatient cabs, over-loaded trucks, tuk tuks, crammed motorbikes, ambling cows, herds of goats, and the occasional washed-out dirt road or camel caravan seem like no big deal. All in all it was a fascinating experience. I highly recommend Bhavna, Chandra, and Indrashan to anyone!

We have known Bhavna aunty and Chandrashekar uncle for 10 years now and have stayed with them during our earlier visits to Jodhpur. The reasons for choosing to stay at Indrashan go beyond the extremely clean, well appointed rooms and the warm hospitality that is extended to guests. Indrashan is ‘home’ for the duration of the visit. It really is as simple as that. You feel welcomed, at home and safe . You are well taken care of with never a moment of intrusion. Every room has a shelf of books and any place that offers guests some food for the brain is a winner. Both of them are wonderful conversationalists and we’re quite sure that our visits will be planned based on availability at Indrashan. No one else comes close.
